Barcode (Size/X-Dim and Start/Stop Char)

The default setting for the Show Start/Stop Char. (Codabar/Code 39/Code 93, only) is Yes (please note that the Code 39 Extended and Code 93 Extended is also supported). If the Show Start/Stop Char. (Codabar/Code 39/Code 93, only) is disabled then you have not selected a barcode supporting this option.

You will be able to select the settings in the Toolbar (icon bar)

As default the Start/Stop characters are shown in the barcode for Codabar, Code 39, Code 39 Extended, Code 93, Code 93 Extended. Select Yes to show the Start/Stop character. In the barcode in the picture above ( a Code 39) you can see the *CODE 39R*, the * = Start/Stop character. Codebar uses A, B, C, D as the Start/Stop character.

When Yes have been selected the start and stop characters supported by the barcode will show in the barcode. The above image shows a Code 39 and the start and stop character is * e.g. *CODE 39R*. Codabar uses A and/or B and/or C and/or D.

Select No to remove the Start/Stop character in the barcode for Codabar, Code 39, Code 39 Extended, Code 93, Code 93 Extended. In the barcode in the picture above ( a Code 39) you can see the CODE 39R. character.

When No have been selected the start and stop characters supported by the barcode will NOT show in the barcode. The above image shows a Code 39 and as you can see the start and stop character * doesn't show and if you had made a Codabar the start/stop characters A and/or B and/or C and/or D would NOT have been shown.

The Size (X-dim) and Height can be used with the following barcode types.

Set the Size (Bar width X-dim) for the barcode. 0.254 mm, 0.01 Inch is selected by default.

The default Size (Bar width X-dim) setting is 0.254 mm, 0.01 Inch, you can select any of the sizes shown above. Please note that the X-dim is the width of ONE bar in the barcode. If you can't use any of the pre-defined X-dim sizes in the menu, you will be able to set the X-dim manually.

The Height is by default set to 100%, that's 16mm, 0.6299 Inch.

The default Height setting is 16 mm, 0.6299 Inch, you can select any of the heights shown above. If you can't use any of the pre-defined heights in the menu, you will be able to set the X-dim manually.
