Barcode Size

The barcode sizes and height is the recommended size by GS1

Size can be selected from the Toolbar (icon bar). Please note that the Bar Height is the recommended size at 100%.

The Rec.Size shows when you use a GS1 Recommended Size.

The above uses a NONE GS1 recommended height.

Change Height to 100% and Rec.Size will show.

<100% contains all settings below 100%

<146% contains all settings 100%, but below 146%

>146% contains all settings above 145%

Bar Height.

As Barcode Image Maker Pro. have all the GS1 recommended Width and Height settings included in this menu you only have to click on it to have the size needed. If you would like to see the different sizes Recommended by GS1, click on one of the following links, Recommended size in millimeters Recommended size in Inches. Default is 100%.

<100% contains 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%. These settings will set the parameters for the barcode, width, height, Quiet zone

The lowest size recommended by GS1 is 80%, so if you would like to use 80%, just click on it and it will be checked.  If you would like to use any of the above 80% to 95%, just click on it and it will be checked and used the next time you make the supported barcode.

<146% contains 100% to 145%, 100% is the default size. These settings will set the parameters for the barcode, width, height, Quiet zone

The Normal (default) size is 100% and will be checked as default. If you have selected any other size than 100% you will always be able to check it again by click on it and it will be checked. If you would like to use any of the above 100% to 145%, just click on it and it will be checked and used the next time you make the supported barcode.

>146% contains 150% to 200%. These settings will set the parameters for the barcode, width, height, Quiet zone

The Max. recommended size is 200%. So if you would like to use any of the above 150% to 200%, just click on it and it will be checked and used the next time you make the supported barcode.

Bar Height 100% is the recommended size (default) by GS1, but as many uses less height

than the recommended, so there is also 10% of the recommended height and all the way up to 75% of the recommended height.

The Bar Height 100% is the recommended GS1 height for the barcode. As you may have noticed many users of barcodes doesn't use the recommended height, so in Barcode Image Maker Pro. you will be able to reduce the height by clicking on any of the additional heights above or you can set you own height or width in the Manual Barcode Settings area.
