List Code

All barcode types have a List Code. The List Code is used to switch to the barcode you would like to make when you click on the product/item in the Barcode List. If you make a Text file (*.txt) that you would like to Open in Barcode Image Maker Pro. you must also include the List Code or your file will not work. Please note that the List Code is case sensitive. They all have 4 characters, the only one that have a SPACE at the end is the EAN-8, EAN-8 + 2 Digits Supplement, EAN-8 + 5 Digits Supplement. Please note that the GS1-128 is also listed as UCC/EAN-128.

Important information for Barcode Maker and Batch Barcode Maker and Barcode XL users, Please note that your SCC-14 will be converted to a ITF-14, list code SC14 to IT14 as the ITF-14 is encoded using Code 2 of 5 Interleaved. The SCC-14 in Barcode Image Maker Pro is encoded using GS1-128 (UCC/EAN-128). The conversion will be done automatically when you open a *.bk2 file in Barcode Image Maker Pro.
