Dimension

Dimension is a part of the Panel in the Main window. If the Bar Width (X-Dimension) is disabled then please check the Fill in / Use settings for the barcode. If you would like to use Inches instead of Millimeters go to the Edit menu and click on Measurement and then click on Inches.

The above barcode is set at, Bar Width (X-Dimension)  0.254 mm (0.01 In.) and a Bar Height of 8 mm (0.3150 In)

Please note that if you use any of the settings options below to alter the Bar Width (X-Dimension) and/or Bar Height the automatic barcode settings for those options will will not be used. If you remove any of the input in Bar Width (X-Dimension) and/or Bar Height the automatic settings will be used for the settings with no input.

The Bar Width (X-Dimension) have been changed to 0.508 mm (0.02 In).

The above settings are 20 Mils for this barcode or 24 pixels (at 1200 dpi), 0.508mm (0.02 In). You do not need to use the Recommended Size as this is exactly x2 of 10 Mils. You could also use a 15 Mils as it would be 18 Pixels, 0.381mm (0.015 In). Please note that the Bar Width (X-Dimension) is the width for ONE bar in the barcode. Don't fill in 10mm (0.3937 In) in Bar Width (X-Dimension) as it will give you a barcode width you would not want as it will be hard to scan it. Included with Barcode Image Maker Pro. is different settings for some barcodes, view sizes for different barcode types and sizes here, Millimeters or Inches.

The Set X-Dim Automatically have been set so the Bar Width (X-Dimension) uses the Recommended Size for 10 Mils, 0.254mm (0.01 In) or 12 Pixels (at 1200 dpi).

The above settings uses the Recommended Size as the Set X-Dim Automatically have been checked, so the Bar Width (X-Dimension) is 0.254mm (0.01 In). The Bar Height is 20mm (0.7874 In). Included with Barcode Image Maker Pro. is different settings for some barcodes, view sizes for different barcode types and sizes here, Millimeters or Inches.
