PDF Settings

The PDF settings is only used when you save a barcode(s).

The PDF Settings area in the PDF/ZIP/EXIF TAB

PDF Owner Password

The password for the PDF for the owner of the PDF file, that's you. If the PDF Owner Password is set, it will be required when you want to make changes to the PDF in Adobe Acrobat.

PDF User Password

The password for the user, if the password is set the user can only read/view the PDF if the password is correct.

Allow Content Edit

Yes, The user will be able to Edit the PDF.

No, The user will NOT be able to Edit the PDF

Allow Content Copy

Yes, The user will be able to copy content from the PDF.

No, The user will NOT be able to copy content from the PDF.

Allow Printing

Yes, The user will be able to print the PDF.

No, The user will NOT be able to print the PDF.

Use EXIF Info. if possible

When this setting have been checked, the Title, Subject, Keywords, Author from the EXIF will be included. Default is unchecked, so please check this option if you would like to include the information for the PDF. If PDF User Password is set the Title, Subject, Keywords, Author will may not show.

Bookmarks

Click on the right mouse button to access the menu above.

You will be able to format the bookmark in the PDF. The [Product] is the same as the information in the Product column in the Barcode List and will be used when saving the bookmark. You will be able to use text as well, if you fill in UPC [Product] , if [Product] in the Barcode List is 32 oz Soda, then the bookmark will be UPC 32 oz Soda. Please note that you must add a spaces if needed or it will be on continuous line of text.

If you Select [None], no bookmarks will be added to the PDF.

How it works.

The Barcode List. Check the product or it will not be saved.

If I save the above image and use the following input in Bookmarks (Add space if needed). Please note that you must add a space if you want it, it's not added automatically.

Would add the bookmark as My fine product 01234567890 12 Great UPA2 (please note that there is a space between [Product] [Barcode] and  [Digit Sup.] and [Free Text] and [Type])

[None]

No bookmarks will be added to the PDF. [None] can not be combined with any of the other settings.

Please note that you can also add text as well.
