The ISSN has one Checksum (Check Digit), it's the 13th digit and it's added automatically. ISSN also supports the Light Margin Indicator, it's the > at the end of the barcode.

If you do not have the ISSN digits then you will be able to find the ISSN digits, the ISSN digits are at pos. 4 to 10 (a total of 7 digits), in the barcode above, it's 1234123. Digits used for the ISSN are the bold digits 9771234123001. The ISSN is also known as the magazine barcode. Price code is pos. 11 and 12 the bold digits 9771234123001, 00 in this case, but you will be able to change the price code if needed.

GS1 Recommended size

For the ISSN you can use one of the pre-defined sizes 80% to 200%.

For the Retail barcodes, you will be able to set the width and height from 80% to 200%, e.g. from X-dim from 0.264 mm (0.0104 In.), and 200% is 0.66 mm (0.0259 In.) and height of the bar, from 18.28 mm (0.719 In) to 45.7mm (1.799 In)
