Barcode Color.

One of many features is the ability to change the barcode colors. You will be able to change the background and the color for the bar. Also inverting the color is available. The colors will be used for the barcode image and also the vector barcode (Encapsulated PostScript (*.eps) also supports CMYK color). Of cause this is also available for the barcode PDF. It can all be done in Barcode Image Maker Pro and is one of many options.
Select the background and bar barcode color. Bar color for none retail barcode.
Click on the icon as shown to your left, you will now see this color selection window.

All you have to do, is to select the color you would like to use.In this case I have selected Red for the bars in the barcode.
You will also be able to select the barcode color for the background, (background color for none retail barcodes) when you click on the icon, shown to your left the above color selection window will show. In this case I will select Yellow.
This is what the barcode looks like, when the colors have been set, please look at the above image.
Invert barcode colors (For EAN,UPC,ISBN,ISSN...) 
You will also be able to invert the colors of the barcode. In the Barcode menu you will be able to check Yes, to invert colors or No, Not to invert colors. No is default.

Before we invert the color of the barcode, it looks like this. Please look at image below.

Now check the Yes option in the Barcode menu option Invert Colors. Now your barcode looks like this. Please look at the image below.
and you will of cause be able to invert a normal black and white barcode as well. It looks like this.

RGB, HSV (HSB), CMYK

You will be able to set the RGB, HSV (HSB), CMYK or you can pick the barcode color onscreen. Please note that the color is calculated RGB, but when saving a Encapsulated PostScript in the CMYK format the CMYK barcode color will be used. The Enhanced Metafile uses the RGB. This option is placed in the Panel in the Barcode Tab.

You will of cause be able to set or pick the bar / font color as well. Please not that the mouse pointer used when picking a color is the default mouse pointer,

“The most suitable and reliable colour combination is black bars on a white background. However, as a general rule, the background of the barcode symbol can be a light, warm colour that does not contain any black (such as yellow or light orange), and the bar colour can be a dark, cool colour that has no, or low, red content (such as dark blue or dark green). It is also a recommendation to avoid high gloss inks as this can cause problems with the reflectance values.”
