Using the barcode image.

Adobe Illustrator supports all the file formats, but I do recommend using the Encapsulated PostScript (*.eps) as Illustrator is a vectors graphics software. You will be able to edit the Encapsulated PostScript (*.eps) in Illustrator. Both RGB and CMYK can be set/used.

How to Open/add an image.

Opening an image in Adobe Illustrator is very easy, click on the File menu and then click on Open (Ctrl+O), select the image and it will be added to the page.

Rotate barcode.

Select the barcode image and then move the mouse pointer to one of the edges of the image and when the cursor looks like the arrow in the image below

hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse up or down and the image will rotate.

If you want to rotate the barcode image 45, 90, 135, 180, 270 then you can do it by holding down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and then move the mouse up or down and the image will rotate (image must be selected as shown in the image above).

Rotate the barcode using the numeric rotate box.

If you would like to rotate the barcode by filling in the digits for the degree, then do the following.

Select the barcode image

Click on the Rotate Tool icon

Press the ENTER key (Carriage Return) on you keyboard and the numeric rotate box will show.

Fill in the Angle and click on the OK button.
