Get started making barcodes.

First you need to download the barcode software to make the barcodes.

Unzip files

All files have been ziped (*.zip), so you will need to unzip the files. Unziping the files can be done in windows, double click on the zip file and then unzip all files to a folder. Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 have a included zip/unzip function or you can use WinZip (not freeware) or any other software able to unzip files.

Install bar code software

To be able to run the barcode software you will need to install it on your computer. Double click on the

setup Barcode Image Maker Pro, if you are installing Barcode Image Maker Pro.

setup Code Barcode Maker Pro, if you are installing Code Barcode Maker Pro.
setup Retial Barcode Maker Pro, if you are installing Retial Barcode Maker Pro.

Follow the instructions in the setup. At License Agreement you will have to click on 'I accept the terms in the license agreement' and the click on the next button. When installation have ended you will see one of these icons on your desktop.

Double click on the icon on your desktop and the barcode software will run.

How to use the barcode software.

When the barcode software is runing, there is some basic rules how to make a barcode.

Select Barcode

First you will need to know what barcode you want to make using the Select Barcode combo box.

Barcode Input

Then you will need to fill in the information to be used in the barcode, this is done in the Barcode Input area.

A UPC-A barcode needs 12 digits, but you only need to fill in 11 digits as the last one (the 12th, the checksum) will be added automatically. Click on the Add to List button, to add the barcode information to the Barcode List.

Barcode List

You will be able to add a Max. of 32 000 items for each Barcode List and all you have to do is to check the items/product in the Barcode List and then save it as a image or print the barcode on labels.

You will be able to merge Barcode Lists and of cause save the Barcode List, click on the and then select Barcode Image Maker List (*.bim) or MS Excel (97-2003 Worksheet)(*.xls) or Barcode List (*.txt). The next time you need to make a barcode all you have to do is to Open the saved Barcode List and check the item/product, it's fast and easy.
